Warranty Service

Last updated: July 11, 2026

Every PIKA scooter is backed by the PIKA 12-Month Limited Warranty. This is our own warranty, honored directly by PIKA — you deal with us, not a third party. This policy explains what is covered, what is not, and how to make a claim.

What's covered

PIKA warrants that your scooter will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 12 months from the date of delivery.

If a covered defect appears within the warranty period, PIKA will, at our discretion:

  • supply replacement parts, or
  • repair the affected component, or
  • replace the scooter if it cannot be reasonably repaired.

Covered components include the motor, controller, battery, display, and structural frame, when they fail due to a manufacturing defect under normal riding conditions.

Shipping costs for warranty claims

For approved warranty claims, PIKA covers the cost of shipping for parts, repairs, and any return required to complete the service. You will not pay shipping on a valid warranty claim.

What's not covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (tires, brake pads, grips, bearings, and other consumable parts).
  • Damage from accidents, collisions, drops, or misuse.
  • Water damage or corrosion beyond the scooter's rated IP54 water resistance (for example, riding through deep water or submerging the scooter).
  • Damage caused by unauthorized modifications, repairs, or non-PIKA parts.
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect function (scratches, scuffs, fading).
  • Damage from failure to follow the owner's manual, including improper charging, storage, or maintenance.
  • Use of the scooter for rental, commercial, competitive, or off-road use beyond its intended purpose.
  • Loose fasteners resulting from normal use — folding hardware and bolts should be checked and tightened periodically as part of routine maintenance.

Battery

The battery is warranted against manufacturing defects for the same 12-month period. A gradual reduction in battery capacity and range over time is normal and is not considered a defect.

How to make a warranty claim

To start a claim, email info@pikaescooters.com with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos or a short video showing the problem

Our team will review your claim and respond within 1–2 business days with next steps. Please keep your original proof of purchase — it is required for all warranty service.

Important notes

This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. It is valid only for scooters purchased directly from pikaescooters.com. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights that vary by state.
